I have deposited funds and traded crypto currency on the Onix platform. After making some profits, initiated a withdraw of all my funds to an external wallet and was denied by the platform which asked me to pay a 2% transaction fee before releasing my funds. I refused to pay it and they froze my funds. Can't withdraw or use it to trade crypto on the platform. I had no choice but to pay the fee. It usually takes less than an hour to transfer crypto currency, yet half a day had gone by after I had paid the transaction fee, my funds were still not released. Contacted the platform regarding the withdraw, was told the withdraw appointments were full for that day. Had to wait another day. Next day comes, they told me I need to pay 37% income tax before they can transfer my funds. I know that doesn’t make sense because filing taxes is my responsibility not the platform's. I believe I have been scammed.
