I am absolutely shaken. My ex-fiance hired Thomas Anthony after I ended things. I had spent our entire relationship doing everything for him, and received very little in return. He literally told me he wanted no feedback from me. He was defensive and dismissive. His ex-wife got all of his attention. He showed me that I am not a priority and I finally left. In his reactive state he hired Anthony from Emlovs hoping to fix things with me. I had blocked him on everything. I ended up unblocking him to see if I can take his kids somewhere nice. He literally started blowing my phone up all day every day. I kept asking him to stop but he persisted. He kept telling me how he was going to relationship coaching and he is a different person. I was wearing down and started to chat here and there, but was clear that I needed space.

Last week I had an emergency, I was stuck on the highway for hours, so scared. I messaged him, not because I expected him to help me, but because we were best friends for so long and I was hoping to just chat for a few min to stop crying. He didn't respond and I was actively trying to get roadside assistance. When he finally responded I told him I don't want to talk anymore and just kept saying "bye." I will admit, I wasn't nice about it as it triggered the many many many times he was not there. I even reached out as soon as I got home and apologized, twice. During that time he sent screenshots to Thomas. Thomas absolutely trashed me, my character, and my job (I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor).

I feel so absolutely violated at the things that this complete stranger said about me. He does not know me, what I have done for my ex, etc. I was in a literal emergency! My ex wasn't saying anything bad about me, but he did not correct Thomas either. Thomas just raged about me. He then encouraged my ex to post on Facebook about me. I can no longer trust my ex after using my emergency for validation so he is now blocked again. There was absolutely an opportunity for us to at minimum be friends. I just feel so violated that my ex shared those private messages, and so humiliated that Thomas trashed me and then encouraged my ex to post about me on social media.

The screenshots are not the entire conversation, just snippets of the inappropriate comments made by Thomas. The dismissiveness they are referring to is me saying "bye" repeatedly, which my ex told me this evening apparently hurt his feelings. I have treated him so well, nothing I have done warrants Thomas's insults.

I would encourage people to find a licensed provider. This kind of feedback is not only inappropriate, it is extremely detrimental. Someone in Thomas's position should take a neutral standpoint and focus on their client. If you are looking for help with your relationship, find a licensed provider who is certified in the Gottman Method. This guy just seems to want to teach men to hate women. I am just appalled.
