Trust Score Methodology and Review Process
Our website reputation checker combines automated detection and human validation. We use weighted signals from malware and phishing detections, blocklist status, infrastructure quality, historic behavior, verified ownership, independent reputation sources, and public review feedback. Trust score combines automated malware signals, phishing patterns, domain and hosting metadata, behavior indicators, verified ownership details, independent reputation sources, and public review feedback. Large volumes of credible positive reviews can increase confidence, while high-risk detections or unresolved warning signs can still cap the score.
Does this checker detect new scam websites that are not in blocklists yet?
Yes. In addition to known blocklists, the checker analyzes live page content, scripts, redirects, and domain patterns. This helps detect risky websites that are new or not yet widely reported.
What data is included in a website reputation report?
Reports include risk category, trust score, detection details, technical signals, IP and registrar information, domain age, and user reviews when available. For some sites, report cards may also include platform-level context and cross-source indicators.
Can website owners appeal a false positive?
Yes. Submit a free review request via portal.gridinsoft.com. If portal access is unavailable, contact [email protected] as a fallback. Reports are updated when evidence confirms a false positive.
Is Website Reputation Checker free to use?
Yes. You can submit domains and view public reputation reports for free. API access is available separately through Gridinsoft API plans.
