  • Multi-Signal Threat Detection

We analyze URL patterns, live page content, scripts, redirects, and known malicious indicators to classify suspicious websites. This helps identify scam or phishing risk even when a domain is newly registered.

  • Engine + Intelligence Correlation

The checker correlates blocklist data, malware engine results, hosting and registrar metadata, and relationship signals between domains. Cross-signal matching improves consistency and reduces blind spots.

  • Actionable Domain Reputation Report

Each result includes trust score, risk category, detection context, and core technical facts such as IP, registrar, and domain age. You get practical context to decide whether to proceed, avoid, or investigate deeper.

  • How Trust Score Is Calculated

Trust score is based on weighted evidence. Strong negative indicators (malware detections, phishing heuristics, harmful links) can cap the maximum score. Positive indicators (claimed profile, verified contacts, stable reputation sources, and high-volume credible reviews) can raise the score when supported by data.

Trust Score Methodology and Review Process

Our website reputation checker combines automated detection and human validation. We use weighted signals from malware and phishing detections, blocklist status, infrastructure quality, historic behavior, verified ownership, independent reputation sources, and public review feedback. High-confidence negative signals can limit score ceilings to prevent false trust inflation, while strong positive evidence such as approved profile ownership, reputable third-party scores, and large volumes of credible positive reviews can raise trust when the data supports it.

If you believe a report is incorrect, website owners can submit a free review request through portal.gridinsoft.com. If portal access is unavailable, use [email protected] as fallback.

Private report

Private complaints stay private. Public reviews appear on the selected report after moderation.

Website Reputation Checker FAQ

How scanning works, what trust score means, and what to do if a report is incorrect.

How does Gridinsoft Website Reputation Checker calculate trust score?
Trust score combines automated malware signals, phishing patterns, domain and hosting metadata, behavior indicators, verified ownership details, independent reputation sources, and public review feedback. Large volumes of credible positive reviews can increase confidence, while high-risk detections or unresolved warning signs can still cap the score.
Does this checker detect new scam websites that are not in blocklists yet?
Yes. In addition to known blocklists, the checker analyzes live page content, scripts, redirects, and domain patterns. This helps detect risky websites that are new or not yet widely reported.
What data is included in a website reputation report?
Reports include risk category, trust score, detection details, technical signals, IP and registrar information, domain age, and user reviews when available. For some sites, report cards may also include platform-level context and cross-source indicators.
Can website owners appeal a false positive?
Yes. Submit a free review request via portal.gridinsoft.com. If portal access is unavailable, contact [email protected] as a fallback. Reports are updated when evidence confirms a false positive.
Is Website Reputation Checker free to use?
Yes. You can submit domains and view public reputation reports for free. API access is available separately through Gridinsoft API plans.
