I initially invested approximately 600 USDT in this Whats App trading group that I was invited to participate.. I participated in about 8 trades and was quickly up to 6530 USDT. I had tested and successfully withdrew a total of 350 USDT. However when I was up to the 6530 I tied to withdraw more funds and my withdrawal did not go through. I was told I needed to pay 20% commission which I did. I was told by the assistant Daisy Jones who supposedly reported to the top analyst Marc Andreessen.that I would be able to withdraw my funds within 24 hours after paying my commission. I waited 24 hours. However, when I attempted to withdraw 3000 USDT my account was flagged for too frequent withdrawals and suspicious of money laundering. My funds were frozen and I was told I would need to pay 50% of my funds to thaw out my account. I refused to fork over additional funds. I contacted someone named Yulia from customer services who said if I paid the 3000 USDT I would then have a total amount of $9530 and would immediately be able to withdraw my funds. I refused to pay the additional funds. It appeared my funds were being held in ransom. I had numerous back and forth conversations to no avail. Daisy Jones continued to try to persuade me to trust her and resolve this matter by paying the fee and I would be free to continue trading. In the group chat people were showing screenshots of trades amounting to over $50,000. I contacted several people in the group chat privately. One person told me he had no problem and just withdrew $100,000. He showed me a screenshot. He said he had no problems with the site. One other person replied and said they had no problems. I contacted Yulia again asking her to unfreeze my account. She said it was automated and locked and could only be resolved by my actions. I told her it was a scam. I demanded my funds to be released and threatened to contact the authorities. She suggested I do so and the lawyers would handle it. I did file a complaint with the FBI cryptocurrency fraud site. I doubt I will ever recover my funds.
