FAQ
Is skillsthey.com safe?
Current analysis does not clearly confirm that skillsthey.com is safe. Important context includes negative customer reviews and recent domain registration. Independent verification is still recommended before relying on it.
Why does skillsthey.com have mixed reputation signals?
Key factors include registrar information (NameCheap, Inc.), hosting in US, and a relatively new domain (8 months). Major malware and phishing engines did not report active blacklist detections at the time of review, but reputation-related warning signals were still present. The trust score blends security detections, domain and infrastructure signals, on-page behavior patterns, and public review history when available. The overall assessment remains mixed because third-party reputation sources do not point to a fully consistent trust profile.

I've just fallen victim to the same $0.01 charge as the other reviewer, though in my case is was £0.01 as I'm in the UK. I had received a payment card for the ZapMap EV charging point app, and had clicked on the link in their iPhone app to register the card. When I did this a GoogleAds window appeared asking my to double click to authorise a £0.01 charge to my credit card. I assumed this was part of the payment card registration process. Having done that, I then registered my ZapMap card. I then got suspicious, and checked my credit card app, which showed a £0.01 pending transaction to this company. Having read the other post, I put a stop on my credit card and phoned the credit card company to put a block on this company via their stoplist. I'm also going to contact ZapMap to notify them of what happened. My thanks to the previous reviewer (Nick Scott) for his post, which helped me and, I suspect, will no doubt help others too. It's interesting that this happened to me jsut two days after Nick's post - suggesting that this is a brand new scam.

These guys are a scam. I thought I was signing up for a HP Printer app but it was skills they site. They charged my $0.01 straight away then took $66 from my credit card the next day. Apparently, instead of signing up to the HP site to get free ink I was signed to their membership. Avoid these guys at all costs. They are a scam.
