Very disappointing at Visionworks. I have a Clover Health plan with a $300 yearly eyewear allowance, which is clear in my insurance app. But the store only applied $200 to my progressive lenses and couldn’t explain why the rest was ignored. They quoted me $379 for the lenses, but only applied $200 of my allowance, leaving me with a high out-of-pocket cost. The staff gave vague and conflicting answers and didn’t seem to know how Clover benefits work. I had to cancel the order to avoid overpaying. This felt misleading and unprofessional. Customers shouldn’t have to argue or teach staff about their own insurance benefits. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone with insurance, especially Clover. Be careful and double-check everything before paying.
