Marinescheck.com is definitely a fraudulent website I finally got a report from them and it was a totally bogus report that had been cut and pasted and didn't have any of the relevant information on it. Do not use this site!

SCAM!!! Guy named "scott" says he will buy our Lund boat listed on Facebook Marketplace in rural Alberta. After two days of "messenger" chat, he says he's coming to see boat but wants hull ID checked. Told it was a fishing boat not a car. He says no problem, he will send me info for company that does hull checks if I could have report for him when he gets here today to see boat and that he will cover cost of report and pay buy bank transfer or bank certified check, my choice. I fell for it. Payment went through and then...nothing. no report. I had clicked the link he sent to get the report instead of checking for the company online first. Credit card company immediately stopped my card and says company that got the money was actually registered as autoscheckmate.com out of St. Paul Minnesota, ph (651) 262-8677. When you call number, after ringing a while, a guy's voicemail comes on, does not identify a company, sounds like a meth head with stumbling speech and says leave a messaqe. RCMP now know as do St. paul police, but clearly St. Paul police do not care. I felt they pretended to take info on guy, said they would pass it on, but to me it seemed a lie because they did not ask for any of my information for contact. To me, St. Paul police are facilitating the crime by doing nothing. I think they are culpable and complicit in the crime by failure to do their duty regarding known fraud. The guy does it because no one will stop him. You cannot count on the police anymore, as they protect criminals. If you are sellingn something on facebook, do not trust any vehicle ID check company sent to you as a condition of sale.

I paid for the historical data on my boat which the site stated I would receive within 24 hrs. Was ghosted when I inquired after the 24 hours expired. they not only have my money, but my cc info, address and phone number. BEWARE!
