Verse-dex.org Cryptocurrency Scam

Intro: I am of the opinion that I have become a victim of cryptocurrency fraud. I believe that Verse-dex.org, a crypto wallet mobile app (not to be confused with Verse, associated with Bitcoin), is the fraudulent party.

History:

8/12/25 through October: I made a number of wire transfers. All funds ended up with Verse-dex.org and were converted into USDT cryptocurrency.

With each successive transfer to Verse-dex.org, my “principal” grew and I subsequently joined one or more of their AMM “liquidity” investment pools, each offering daily profit at varying return rates. Initially everything appeared normal. Every night in the app I could see my “profits” grow. Early on, Verse-dex.org allowed me to make two small withdrawals ($10,000 and $2,000 respectively).

10/31: I attempted to withdraw $600,000. Verse-dex.org refused. After communicating with their online support, I learned that on 9/19 my “account score” had dropped from 100 to 80. Until my score was restored to 100, withdrawals were not allowed. I was not notified on 9/19 that my score had dropped, and I would have addressed it immediately. The rule they claim I broke on 9/19 was not violated.

Verse-dex.org informed me that to restore my account score to 100 (and regain withdrawal access), I needed to make a new deposit of $637,000, equal to 20% of my total account balance at that time. I could not raise this amount, as Verse-dex.org already held all of my funds. Even if I had the money, I would not deposit more, as I do not believe they would restore my withdrawal access. I also no longer believe that any profits were real; the figures displayed appear to have been fabricated.

Summary:

In my opinion, Verse-dex.org has committed fraud based on the following points:

• I did not break the rule that allegedly caused my account score to drop and prevented withdrawals. The platform appears to manipulate its own rules to justify retaining my funds. The demanded “20% deposit” of $637,000 to restore my account score amounts to ransom.

• From 9/19 (the alleged date of the issue) until 10/31, Verse-dex.org did not notify me of any problem with my account. This allowed the displayed “profits” to grow and increased the amount of money required to supposedly fix the issue. This appears to have been done intentionally to extract more funds.

• The seed phrase I recorded early on, which should correspond to my funds on the blockchain, points to nothing. I attempted to recover my funds using the seed phrase, and the result was $0.
