Full disclosure: I'm not a random customer. I've worked with the person behind this site for a long time, and I'm commenting because I know the operation first-hand. The site itself is new, which seems to be the entire basis for the low score. A new domain isn't evidence of wrongdoing — it's just a new domain. Compare how Trustpilot handles this: their calculation folds in the equivalent of seven reviews at 3.5 stars for every business, so a company with little history starts from a neutral position rather than a damaging one. That baseline fades as real reviews come in. It's a sensible design, because it doesn't punish a business simply for existing recently. Starting new sites near the bottom instead has a real cost. A low score shows up in search results and scares off customers before anyone has had the chance to have a good or bad experience. If the rating is going to carry that weight, the criteria behind it should be published, and the route to correcting an inaccurate score should be the same for everyone regardless of budget.
