I’m posting this to alert others and to put on record an experience that appears deliberately misleading. I used the Pictoart website for a one-off image enhancement. At checkout, the page emphasized a €0.10 charge and framed it as a single, standalone payment required to access the download. There was no clear or prominent indication that this action would enroll me in any recurring plan. Despite that, the following day my account was debited €49.50 for a monthly subscription that I did not knowingly or consciously agree to. The case in now pending The matter is currently under review by PayPal, which so far appears to be favoring Pictoart, as is often the outcome in situations like this. From a consumer-rights perspective, this conduct is deceptive and arguably fraudulent, as it relies on misleading presentation rather than informed consent.

Paid €0.10 to improve the quality of a photo. The next day they charged me another €49.90 on the card used for that payment for a monthly subscription that I had never signed up for and had never authorized.
