What is Damax?
Our system marks Damax.vu as suspicious. The decision is based on a cluster of weak trust signals, not one isolated event.
Examples we frequently observe in this group: ownership data that cannot be verified, support pages with no workable contacts, reused template content, and redirects/scripts that do not match the visible site purpose. Each item alone may be explainable. Together, they increase user risk.
Recommended handling: treat this domain as untrusted. View pages only, avoid sign-in, avoid payments, and do not download files unless the source can be independently confirmed.

Totally a scam/phishing website. My cousin’s email address sent me an email with an ‘evite’ & when I tried to open it, it tried to re-direct to this website. Thankfully my phone blocked it from opening. Talked to my cousin & she received the same email from someone else, her phone/computer didn’t block it though so they got her email address & spammed everyone (including me) with the same fake evite email. The email looks pretty legit.

I received an email that appeared to be from a friend. It appeared to be a nicely formatted invitation, and it used my friend's name in the email subject and body. The email did not contain any details about the event. When I clicked the "View invitation" button in the email, a page on damax.vu opened, which immediately downloaded the Windows installer file ScreenConnect.ClientSetup.msi . Of course, I didn't open it, but the name certainly implies bad intent (I'm amazed they didn't bother renaming it).
