FAQ
Is personality.co safe?
No. Based on current analysis, personality.co falls in Risky Territory and should not currently be treated as a safe website; strong independent verification is needed before relying on it.
Why is personality.co considered untrusted?
Key factors include manual expert review, verified business services, strong independent trust, and registrar information (MarkMonitor, Inc.). Major malware and phishing engines did not report active blacklist detections at the time of review. The final verdict also reflects manual expert review. The trust score blends security detections, domain and infrastructure signals, on-page behavior patterns, and public review history when available. Taken together, these factors support an untrusted, high-risk assessment rather than a mixed or acceptable one.

Personality.co fraudulent charges. I never applied to this website or used their services. They are denying my refund even after explaining to them that I never signed up for their services so would not have seen the so-called cancellation notice in an email. They were initially going to issue me a one time refund but rescinded it after I told them I never signed up for their services. They are okay with deceptive charges and fraud. They should be stopped from their predatory practices.

This site explicitly stated in the title of their site link: “Free Narcissism Test” in blue at the top. The first page contains no information after you click to view their website, it only allows you to start their assessment from that screen. After completing 100+ questions, the only way to complete their test is to immediately pay their report fee to be able to see any sort of information. It was a low enough price for just that one particular number, the level they classify you as. After I have now researched this more, it appears that, even though I never paid their report fee due to an immediate and easily understandable skepticism which makes this only my educated opinion, this site would have generated an automatic confirmation that you indeed have the trait that was tested for. I gleaned this from a number of signs and clear indicators including a pinned ticker board at the top of the page highlighting all the names of everyone who has been purchasing their test and paid their fee along with that person test score, and this churned out a new approximately every 1 second. It wasn’t there to promote their success or that of any buyers but specifically to show that so many people were giving them money, ‘so why shouldn’t you trust them and just pay?’. They make the price for what they say is just the test report so you can find out your results, they say this is a 10 page report about your individual feedback, yet any rational/logical/educated person would know that this instantly generated report will be a long winded pre-written report that will be the same for every person in their three levels, most likely with small tweaks to intensify how bad it is and how badly you need help based on the levels as they go up getting worse. I’m positive that any information or insights that could be taken from this report would far more easily be found with one Google search. With a relatively low purchase price, they can sell their three pre-made copy and paste psychological reports over and over. Pretty good passive income strategy for them, just assembling generic rudimentary information, or using AI to have written, these three documents for presenting to unwitting consumers. Add in then the set up of such a simple UI wireframe and behavioural design. This being how they overtly aim to influence and encourage specific behaviours in users by taking advantage of basic principles of human psychology in order to guide that user towards their desired outcome. That would obviously, by design definition, attempt to force site visitors to take specific action, such as making a purchase. They do a few hours of work and can perpetually collect this passive income indefinitely. Screams scam to me so far. Not to mention their not so sly hidden fee structure. You find out later that this initial payment and resulting report that informs you of your newly discovered serious problem, is only a gateway into scamming you to believe you need to take more of their tests to really understand your situation which is the only way to help you, and they have a pre-prepared ‘course’ you need to take because they only want to help you as this is ruining your life, and their ‘course’, most likely based on basic principles that they could have also found on google, is the only way to fix you. “So give us more of your money. Don’t worry, we have your credit card information already”.
Perpetuity of a scam! Anyone could do this.. meaning this could be created by a guy in his mum’s basement alongside his cr**khead friend.
Insufferable little liars.

I have had the exact same issues everyone else had with these people. Pay $2 for a personality test and end up getting charged $30 a month for the past 4 months without noticing it. Don't know why this business is allowed to keep operating, it should be shut down.

The same thing happened to me as others on this site have stated. They advertise a free online personality test, then after you take the test they say you need to pay $1.95 for the results. I paid that thinking it was not a big deal, but a week later, they came back and charged my card $39.95. I did not authorize this charge, I was very careful to make sure that I was not signing up for anything else, because I only wanted the test results. They had a subscription option but I specifically did not choose that, so I have no idea what I was being charged for. Only after seeing the website on my statement was I even able to find the site again and see that they had enrolled me in a subscription anyway. This is blatant fraud! Avoid them like the plague!

I strongly advise everyone to avoid personality.co. I purchased a product priced at €1.90, but a week later they withdrew almost €40 from my credit card without my consent. This is blatant fraud and a serious breach of trust. Their unauthorized charges and lack of transparency show that this company operates unethically. I have already initiated legal actions and urge others to be extremely cautious when dealing with them. Stay far away from personality.co!

SCAM ALERT. I paid $1.95 for a personality test that was made to look like the Meyers Briggs one. They ended up charging my card for $29.95 which I did not authorize. Luckily, my bank contacted me under suspicion of fraud and I was able to dispute the charge and get a new card. Don't give this website any of your time.

I was searching for a Myers-Briggs personality test, which they promote under a sponsored ad. I clicked a link that verbatim says "Start Myers & Briggs test," and after going through it you realize that a) it is NOT free, and b) it is NOT Myers-Briggs. It's the Enneagram. Further, they sign you up for a monthly payment of $30 for pity's sake. Unethical and immoral site

Steer clear. Scam from the onset. No transparency in their approach, both with regards to the actual service, and also the financial aspects.
If you want an analysis of yourself, DO NOT let agents such as these under your skin;
Misleading you with money is bad enough, but poorly classifying your own personality with this is ignorant, dangerous and irresponsible to the self.

Avoid !!! I was lured into completed a personality questionnaire as it was offered at a cost of £1.95 which seemed reasonable. The report was received immediately and was very comprehensive.
However, I received no receipt for payment which I thought was odd but worse still was that a few days later my card was charged a further £29.95 and again this month a further £29.95. On no occasion have I received any advice that they were going to charge me nor have I ever received any acknowledgment if payment eg receipt, statement etc.
I have referred this matter directly to my credit card company as I have no contact details for personality.co , so this should put an end to it and I hope to get a refund for at least one payment of £29.95.
Whatever the case, this is a scam so beware and avoid and scores zero stars

SCAM COMPANY BEWARE!
This company is built on deception fraud and scammy ways.
They have a phone number but NO way to call the system just hangs up on you. They don’t want to communicate any other way than through email as there is no accountability and they buy time to formulate excuses for “ripping you off”.
