Nivarena.com Suspicious Shop

Rated one star because I could not rate zero. Ordered two sportcoats for a price about the same as I could (and should) have ordered on Amazon. Unfortunately, between shopping on my computer and using the Shop app, I double ordred (my fault). Requested to stop and refund the duplicate and they refused saying I would have to return. When the first shipment arrived, the quality was awful. The material was thin as cigarette paper. No shape. They were essentially polyester shirts. I reached out to Nivarena for a return authorization and was offered 15% off of a future order. I told them I wanted a return. Several days later, they offered 30% of a future offer. Again I told them I wanted to return. Several days later they offered a 45% discount on a future offer, and also finally provided the return form (by the way the returns are to China, not the firms purported New York location in the photo on their website or Houston, which is the area code listed on the contact page). The next day I received an email stating: "Thank you for your reply, and I completely understand why you’d prefer a refund. Given your experience, that’s a very reasonable request, and I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. At the moment, we’re unfortunately unable to process refunds due to an ongoing system update issue. This has temporarily impacted our refund processing, and our team is actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible. I sincerely apologize for the added frustration this may bring. Please know that if it were possible for us to process the refund right now, we absolutely would do so for you. In the meantime, the options we previously shared (such as the discount code) remain available so we can still offer you a resolution while this is being fixed." Note there were really only two final options; a 45% discount on the purchase of additional garbage from them or, a return that based on the above, may never happen because of a mystery software issue. So to me that likely means that I will never see a dime as a return and should take the 45% discount, however, the merchandise is identical to the cheapest Temu garbage you could find. That doesn't seem like much of a deal to me. Not to mention the fact that I had to go back and purchase the Amazon merchandise, that was about $20 more for two sport coats, but was good quality and delivered in two days (did I mention it takes weeks to buy from Nivarena as they drop ship from China?).
