Trusted but Verify
Current checks lean positive for this site, supported by no major malware/phishing detections and long visible domain history (11.7 years), though a basic verification step is still sensible.
We reviewed bedrocklearning.org and found mostly positive signals. Current checks lean toward a legitimate, lower-risk profile, although a few caution points still keep it short of a fully verified standing. The current trust score is 71/100. Key signals include no major malware/phishing detections, a domain age of 11.7 years, and presence in public traffic rankings. Public feedback is mixed, so service quality, refunds, and order handling should still be checked. Verify key details before sharing personal information or relying on the site for important actions.

This website is a nightmare. It will be a bigger issue as more kids are forced to use it. Soon, they will spam 1-star reviews and this site will be taken down. It's glitchy and the work is really poor quality, like it was done by children in a few minutes. Let me summarize my concerns about using this app:
The activities and extracts are patronizing and reference hateful figures, which is the last straw for me. At my school, Bedrock was first used by the top sets in Y11, and nobody liked it, but now we're stuck with it indefinitely.
Regarding the hate figure, there’s a lesson that mentions Robert Galbraith, who is actually a pseudonym for Joanne Rowling. In an activity in B9 T13 Women Writers, there’s a mock text saying "Did you know that the author Robert Galbraith isn't a real person? It's an alias!" This is problematic because Robert Galbraith isn't just a name Rowling made up; it's also the name of a controversial therapist who did abusive things. This reflects Rowling's views on parts of the LGBTQ+ community.
There’s another mention of Rowling in lesson 79 of the same book. While it might fit the book’s theme to mention her alongside other female authors, we shouldn’t give her a platform. Her name's inclusion is out of touch, especially since she funds hate groups and harms trans people. Even though Harry Potter is culturally important, her recent actions overshadow that.
It's like saying Hitler was a great artist without acknowledging the atrocities he committed. Overall, I expect better from an award-winning site like Bedrock and not to include hate figures positively.
